Soil Penetrant, Wetting Agent and Surfactant
PENATEC is a new technology developed to be an environmentally safe product and cost- effective management tool for golf courses and other fine turf applications. This new chemical technology used in PENATEC provides the user with a penetrant-wetting agent that reacts in minutes and long lasting.
PENATEC has the unique ability to relieve compaction in minutes. This allows water and oxygen easy access to the plant root zone. It provides a soil environment that allows root growth and expansion. And will improve microbial activity.
PENATEC will move surface water from heavy rains through saturated soils. It is an excellent dew control. Moving the accumulated dew from the surface into the soil profile. Prepares greens for tournament or everyday play.
PENATEC reduces surface tension allowing easy movement of irrigation water into the root zone and soil profile. Can reduce the amount of irrigation being applied per cycle. Thus reducing the overall amount of irrigation required to maintain healthy turf and plants. Insures all applied irrigation is utilized.
The ability of PENATEC to move water from the surface and open the soil helps to prevent certain problems such as black layer. Dry spots and LDS on hills and undulations are corrected with one application and remain green and vibrant for weeks.
Adding PENATEC to sprayer mixes will produce faster results. Used with products such as iron will create a much quicker green up.
PENATEC can be applied by boom sprayer, irrigation injection, fertigation, hose end applicator, drip irrigation, or hand applied. The product is a cost-effective concentrate and only a few ounces per acre are required.
